The Story of That Picture of Bob

Why we can solve the toughest automation problems. When you come to my web site, you may be surprised to see this rather unusual picture of me. When I worked for a company called Allen Corporation of America back in the 1980's, there was a large media production department (Allen Corp. produced a lot of training materials for the DoD). They had just purchased a rather expensive piece of gear called a Marion Carrel, which was used to produce overlays for cartoons and pictures. So the operators, Alan and Kim Housel, knowing what a geek your's truly was (and still is), decided to try out their new toy. They took a side profile picture of me, and then overlayed a cheap circuit board that we got at SkyCraft in Winter Park, FL. And now you know the rest of the story.
