Windows XP Service Pack 2 is currently in beta testing, but Microsoft has released a number of white papers and articles describing all of the new improvements and default high security settings that will come with it. While a lot of the material described here is aimed at developers, Administrators should also start to prepare for its release by reading these articles as well.
