MicroApplications, Inc. Partner FTP System™

The MicroApplications Partner FTP System™ is designed for small to medium-sized businesses who are trading files with their business partners, and who already have a data import and export process in place. This is known as business data orchestration. Here's an overview of how the two main components of the system work together.

You give each of your partners a copy of the Partner FTP Client. They place outbound files in a FilesToSend directory on their internet-connected computer. As soon as that file is detected, it is immediately sent to your existing ftp server. On your side, the Partner FTP File Manager periodically scans all customer ftp upload directories and gathers all new files into a Master Import directory that you specify. You then run your import process on these files, placing the output files in a Master Export directory. The Partner FTP File Manager then grabs all of your export files and places each in the correct customer's outbound directory on your ftp server. This is done by using a different file extension for each partner, and configuring the Partner FTP File Manager so that it knows about each customer. The next time each partner connects to your server (also run on a configurable timer), their file(s) are downloaded to a FilesRecvd directory on their computer. Email notifications are sent for all events through each user's email server to email addresses specified by your partners and you. Both the Partner FTP File Manager and Partner FTP Client components run as a Windows Service, and come with a Service Manager to maintain configuration data as well as start and stop the underlying service. Once each service is running, you do not need to do anything else other than add and configure partners. No other software is required. Imagine the time and money you'll save managing your partners' inbound and outbound data.

Anticipated release of the Partner FTP System™ is Q2, 2005. Pricing will be extremely competitive (we want you to have great ROI!), with Partner FTP File Manager and multiple Partner FTP Client component licenses available at several convenient package levels (e.g., 1 Partner FTP File Manager with 5, 10, or 25 Partner FTP Client licenses). Pricing is estimated at $149.99 per File Manager, and $89.99 per FTP Client, with a sliding discount for the various packaged levels.
